The customary introductory blog post

In India , whenever you go and visit the Taj Mahal  , it is customary to take a picture of yourself with the monument so that you cause an optical illusion that your hand is on top of its finial.
Similarly in Italy when you visit the leaning tower of Pisa , it is customary that you take a picture of yourself with the monument – causing an optical illusion that your hands are supporting the tower from falling on to the ground.
In Starbucks it is customary that you click a picture of your drink with your name hastily written with a marker on the plastic cup.

Enough with examples of customary, I hope you get the drift.

This first post on my blog , is a customary introductory blogpost.
A blogpost which tells about the blog and gives a hint of future blogposts.

So here it goes :

What is it ?
It is a blog written by me. Here I will write about stuff I enjoy talking about , also I might speak about stuff for which I have much to share but facebook alone won’t be a good medium.

Why did I write it ?

I had nothing better to do in my free time.
Also I think that I might share some views or experiences which people might enjoy reading.
I secretly wish that one day someone reads my blog and thinks , “Wow ! This guy is amazing. I should read more of his stuff.” And then goes on to binge read all the blogposts in a day.

What is the future of this blog?
I don’t know. Most creative projects start out great but over time their appeal diminishes and then it all stops. I have known people who started writing a blog but then the blogposts dwindled and now they don’t even remember their login credentials.
I would try to be regular and see if it works.
The future of a blog depends both on the writer and the readership.
The pessimistic side of me knows that this enthusiasm will last for a couple of weeks or a few months at maximum and then the blog will die it’s natural death.
But until that happens , let us experiment with this new medium and see if it works between us.

First real blogpost soon….
